Yellow Button Game

by Linda
(Pennsylvania)

After our retreat is underway, the coordinator discretely hides a large yellow button on someone's table. She then sets a timer for a random amount of time, usually about an hour or so.

The attendees are alerted that the button has been hidden, and if it is on their table when the timer rings, they must put a quarter in the piggy bank. If someone finds it on her table, the goal is to quietly and discreetly hide it on someone else's table before the timer sounds.

At the conclusion of the retreat, everyone's name is put in a bag, and the name drawn is the winner of the piggy bank containing all the quarters.
