Who does commercial long arm machine quilting in Charlottetown and/or area?

I have a quilt top I would like to have machine quilted and am looking for someone who does this as a business. Can you recommend someone? Thanks.

No, at this time we do not have a directory for long arm quilters, it is under consideration for the future.

Because I like to quilt my own quilts, so I can't give a personal recommendation, however, I will leave this question open to our site visitors. If you have used a long arm quilter in the Charlottetown area and can recommend their services, please do so below and I will contact them for information.

In the meantime, I have three alternative suggestions.

  • First, check with quilt stores in your area. Many use long arm quilters to get their store samples machine quilted and would have a good idea what the individual quilters specialize in.

  • A local quilt guild would be another place to find long arm quilters. The Kindred Spirits Quilt Guild next meets on March 16 at 7 pm in the Jack Blanchard Family Centre, 7 Pond Street, Charlottetown. I would suggest calling the center to confirm the date and time just to be sure. You would then have the opportunity to see the work of the quilter, always a good thing.

  • If that doesn't work, then check for a local chapter of Linus Quilts, Quilts of Valor or one of the other charitable quilt organizations. They may have long arm quilters who are quilting their donations and will be able to make a recommendation.

Good luck to you. Thank you for your question.

And readers, if you've used a long arm quilter in the Charlottetown area and can recommend their services, please use the comment form below to do so. Thank you!

Piecefully,
