How should I sell quilt tops? And for how much?

I have a bunch that my grandmother made but only want to keep a few.

Garage sale?

eBay?

And asking price?

I have to admit that I'm totally clueless on this. I haven't sold a quilt, let alone a quilt top...and vintage at that!

Lynn, if the tops are very old, you may want to check with an appraiser. You can find one at the Professional Association of Appraisers - Quilted Textiles website. They are listed by state.

I hope this helps at least a little bit.
