Pfaff Expressions 2.0, 4.2

by Cam
(Pittsburgh)

Had a Singer Confidence Quilter - it was noisy and difficult to use. Traded it in and got the Pfaff Expressions 2.0 which I understand is discontinued.

I love the machine.

It has run fine for 3 years but I have wanted to upgrade to the 4.0 which has also been replaced by the 4.2. So, I test ran it today and am getting it. It is a gem and does everything!

IF you haven't tried one, you really should. The price if reasonable and for quilting it is just perfect!.

I hate it when everyone tries to sell me an embroidery machine when I want to quilt...I am not ready for that level and when I get there, I will get a machine for embroidery .

I also have a little Black Bernina 66 that I absolute love for hauling around. It does so much for the price of around $150 - then just recently I ran across a Singer Featherweight in mint condition so had to have it especially since it was under $200!

Now I know why everyone gets them. Any other opinions?

I bought the 4.2 a few months ago and absolutely love it. It does very well with free motion quilting, regular sewing and even my wonderful that sometimes can cause problems in my brother and janome machines. Love it.

Pfaff Quilting Expression
by: Darlene

I have the Pfaff machine that came before the Expression 2.0 and love it for piecing!! I recently purchased a Creative 2.0 which has an embroidery unit that I will be using to actually quilt some of my projects.
