Memories

Hi Ladies,

I'm Loes Hogenelst and I live in The Netherlands.

In December 2009 the principal of my High School died.

While I was on the commemoration ceremony committee, I got the idea to make something for the school. I didn't know how or what.

Since 2006 I have made quilts and I decided to make a photo mosaic quilt.

I had to search for software and fabrics and this is the result. This is my first photo mosaic quilt.

Update: You can see another of Loes' quilts, Lieveling. It is done in this same 'photo mosaic' technique.

Wow! U have done a fantastic job, I am not brave enough yet to attempt any thing like it. When I do I want to make one of my family when we were all young.
