Johnny Marzetti--A Little Bit of Everything Sampler Quilt

by Rick
(Pensacola, FL)

This is my first sampler quilt and it features a little bit of everything--literally. Traditional patchwork, foundation piecing, and invisible machine applique. SID, free motion quilting, and ruler and template work. It was all done on a domestic sewing machine.

Completely inspirational
by: Sarah

I have come across this website today and was drawn immediately to this section. I am a relatively new quilter. If I could learn to do what is now my favourite thing to this standard I would be over the moon! I have thought about a sampler quilt but now know I must give it a go. Thank you so much for sharing Rick.

Truly a Work of Art
by: Kate in Iowa

Kudos for your artistic design. It is truly amazing! Were I a judge at a quilt show, you would definitely take Best of Show. Your eye for detail, color, arrangement of motifs -- everything about this quilt is outstanding. Congratulations on a superb work of art. I have placed a copy of it on its own page in my collection of copies of quilts I like.

Trying to find help online with my first (easy) quilt. Came upon this creation and just about fell off the couch! Amazing!

I'm inspired!
by: Roberta

A few years ago I did something like this and it turned out well. Perhaps it's time to try a similar project.

I was trying to figure out what I'd enter in next year's fair and I'm going to try something like this! Thanks for the inspiration!
