Mahalo nui loa! (huge thank you)
by: Dolly Keahiolalo Crawford

Ten years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer and opted for a mastectomy (rt breast removal with lymph nodes.) When I left the hospital the day of surgery I was presented with your tote, pillow and a heart shape pillow. It was a perfect fit, anatomically and it brought me greater comfort than any medication. It was my constant companion for 4 weeks at least.

Please know that your work was God sent for me.

I'm sorry its taken me this long to find your website.

God Bless you all for your community service.

Marci has FREE Books for your Quilt Guild
by: Joy Schneider

Dear Members of the Stitching Sisters Quilt Guild,

Alicia's Attic, home of Marci Baker’s Not Your Grandmother's Tumbling Blocks, would like to make your quilt guild an offer that would be hard to pass up. We are cleaning house, not only of our overstock from Alicia’s Attic but also books published by Clearview Triangle written by Sara Nephew and books published by Possibilities authored by Nancy Smith and Lynda Milligan. We acquired the remaining Possibilities when Lynda and Nancy retired in 2011.

To clear our shelves quickly we would like to offer your guild, at no direct expense, an outstanding fundraising event. Your members can earn income for your guild by purchasing books in The Attic at through July 31, 2013. At the end of the program your guild will receive a check for 50% of the member’s Attic purchases; over $100,000 may be given away.

But wait, that's not all...just for registering for this event and to give the members an idea of the quality books available, the guild will receive 5 free books, two of which are Marci's current books Oh My Stars! and Not Your Grandmother’s Flower Garden, Too. Then for each $100 spent by your guild members at The Attic, your guild will receive 3 additional books. Most of the books listed in The Attic are priced under $10 at one third of their original list price.

So how do you take advantage of this event? It’s pretty simple - register your guild using the form on our website. We will assign your guild a code and provide you with digital files to use to spread the word. Then your members can shop, we share, and everyone enjoys the benefits! These titles are some that you may not have seen before or that your local shops never carried! They are great books at pattern prices. Supplies are limited to what is on hand and the best titles will go first! The challenge is that the top 5 guilds will receive additional awards based on total sales for the entire program. This could be as much as $2000 for 1st prize. The one requirement to receive a check is that the guild must have at least $100 in total purchases by July 31, 2013.

We are excited to support organizations dedicated to the art and craft of quilting! Register your guild now to participate in the Give My Guild $100,000+ Challenge and we will ship the free books right away!

If you have any questions, please contact us at the number listed below.

Donate Fabric
by: Karan Osborne

Hello ladies (men too)!

I have a few boxes of fabric I have collected over the years since the late 70's. I love to sew and quilt. But have not found the time to do so in the past 2 years. Now, I am having to downsize my living area and I no longer can store the fabric. We are moving on this month (mid-Jan) and I would like the fabric to go to good use.

Would you like them? And if so when could you take position of them? Please feel free to call and leave a message if I don't answer and I will get back to you soon.

Thank you,

(home 619-328-2400)
