The Chaska Area Quilt Club was formed in order to provide a place for like-minded quilters to gather to share their love of quilting through the exchange of information and techniques. The guild encourages and supports quilters new to the craft and provides all quilters the opportunity to showcase their work in the community.
There are 10 regularly scheduled guild meetings and two special meetings throughout the year.
Regular meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month and begin with a short business meeting to keep our members up to date on Guild 'doings'. An amazing member Show and Tell follows, guest speakers (both nationally known and from our diverse and talented local area quilters). Members have the opportunity to share their quilting tips and ideas, socialize, and participate in meeting sew-ins for our service projects to mystery quilt nights.
Our special meetings include our annual July picnic held outside at Fireman's park in Chaska and a festive Holiday Party in December.
An overnight, weekend retreat is held usually in January, the perfect time to settle in for some quality quilting time.
Visitors are always welcome!
