Quaking Aspen Quilt Guild is an active quilt guild with approximately 150 members meeting in the Boulder.
During the year we enjoy programs from both nationally known speakers and our talented membership. A picnic and guild quilt show in July and our annual Holiday Potluck in December round out our meeting activities.
Guild members present and teach many all day classes throughout the year. As a guild member, you pay only $15 for each class. The monies from these classes helps to fund member guild activities and our community service/philanthropic projects.
We have several philanthropic projects for our members to participate in.
Our Community Outreach creates quilts for the Boulder Safehouse. Members get together once a month in either Boulder or Lyons.
Infant quilts are donated to the Boulder Community Hospital (Foothills).
Comfort quilts are stitched by our members for our members who are living through difficult times.
Prayer shawls are stitched for Boulder Valley Christian Church as a way to thank them for hosting our guild meetings.
Soon to be added to our list of service projects are 'Quilt of Valor'. Please see our website for more details.
