Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore, Inc.

by Margaret Roberts
(Easton. MD)

Bayside Quilters of the Eastern Shore is a guild of approximately 180 quilters meeting at the Easton Fire Station every month.

Members are dedicated to quilt making, whether it be making, sharing or learning. Monthly programs with both local and nationally known teachers inspire us in these endeavors.

Members have the opportunity to participate in many guild-related activities including quilting bees, our member quilt challenge, guild-sponsored bus trips, retreats and workshops. An annual Christmas party and summer picnic round out the yearly festivities.

Our guild participates in many outreach and philanthropic quilting efforts. To date, 22 different groups have received donated quilts and other handmade items from our caring guild members.

Quilte\ show winners
by: Mary KainAnonymous

Thoroughly enjoyed your quilt show in Oxford. This is the second show I have attended. Wondered if you were going to post the winners from the show? Every quilt was different and used different techniques and making a choice was very difficult. I think each of the quilts was a winner, different only in their choice of fabrics and techniques.

Author, storyteller, quilter, and historian
by: Kathleen Lindsey

Hello, My name is Kathleen Lindsey from NJ. I'm not sure but I may have done a quilt presentation with my sisters some years ago. Our group was called, Seven Quilts For Seven Sisters. We no longer present our theatrical play together but I continue to share my theatrical talents with others. I will be in Maryland, preforming at the Handsell House for the Nanticoke Jamboree, October 5, 2013. If you are interested in having me come and do a performance while in the area, please contact me and visit my website at or 856-881-6937.
Hoping to share with you.
