Amazing work Lynn ♡ was it hand-pieced? I imagine it would be very difficult to machine stitch such tiny squares. I have tried piecing small squares and hsts on my machine but they catch in the feed dogs (I think that's what they are called)

This reminds me of antique, what I call "postage stamp" quilts I've seen. The pieces are the size of old postage stamps (they were smaller than the ones we have now.) I wish there was a close up so we could see the detail.
