This is my first ever attempt of quilting... I read a few basic tutorials from the internet and got cracking... I made lots of mistakes!

My squares were not cut out evenly, I failed to stitching the ditch and I sewed the edges pre adding my bias binding which is too wide.

Apart from that, I had great fun! I ended up doing a straight stitch diagonally throughout the quilt. I can't wait to do more...

I decided to give it as a gift to my friend who has a baby on the way...

Wonderful

You did a great job and I predict a long quilting career to follow. As quilters we can always give one of a kind and special from the heart gifts.

Good Enough
by: Kelly Jackson

Well...all I can say is your quilt is "GOOD ENOUGH" and if anyone dares tell you different....get that Elephant to step on their foot! That is what it's all about....just starting, having fun and giving gifts. Without fun and love, why would anyone sew or quilt?

Smiles,
Kelly
