Daughter of the King Quilt

by Taffy Spaloss
(Forked River, NJ)

I made this quilt using the "Beautiful Blessings" panel by Moda Fabrics.

The scripture tells us that the King is enthralled by our beauty, so we should honor him as our Lord. It is a wonderful reminder that we are the Bride of Christ, so precious to him, so beautiful in his sight.

I chose a stunning peacock feather fabric with gold metallic accents to match the peacock feathers in the scripture panel. There are angel wings fabric triangles (also Moda), a blue/purple fairy frost fabric, and a "Tiffany" fabric with colored leaves in bright teals and purples.

All these fabrics frame the scripture panel, focusing your eyes on what matters most, that we are loved by God.

Did the Scripture panel (Song of Solomon) come from Moda as well? I am amazed....

Wonderful job! Love the quilt and the colours used. And especially love the 'focus' of the quilt: the love of God and his blessings.
