Walking foot for a Singer Curvy 8763

Two years ago, I purchased a Singer Curvy 8763 sewing machine online. I don't even remember the vendor.

I took a machine quilting class and am in the process of doing straight line quilting on my "sandwich". The machines at the place where I took the course are Singer Confidence.

They have screw-on walking feet. At home, I have a Singer Curvy 8763 and I'd like to work on my project at home.

I've tried finding the right walking foot for my machine online without success which surprises me.

Do you know of an online vendor who would be able to sell me a walking foot for my machine?

My recommendation is to try the Sewing Machines Plus website.

They carry a variety of walking feet specifically made for Singer sewing machines, including your Curvy 8763.

If you need to purchase a generic foot at any time (like when you start free motion quilting) for your sewing machine, you'd need to know what type of shank you have.

To do this, measure your standard piecing presser foot. If it measures about 1-1/8" from the screw that attaches the foot to the machine it's got a slant shank. A measurement of about 3/4" means you've got a low shank. A high shank will be about 1-1/4".

Then order the foot according to the type of shank you have.

I hope this helps.

Piecefully,
