"Shocking"

I think the pattern is from 1930"s...

I found this in an old quilt magazine, a small black and white picture from that I created this quilt.

It is hand appliqued and hand quilted with hand embroidery and silk ribbon embroidery. It hangs in my foyer.

I worked on this about a year, sometimes my fingers would get sore from quilting and I would rest them a bit.
