Yes! The results are updated pretty much on a monthly basis and can be reviewed here at "The Best Sewing Machine for Quilting is...".

Coming in 2011

Scheduled for this year is developing and publishing a free "Sewing Machine Buyers Guide" to help our readers when they're purchasing a new sewing machine.

Plans now are to have it in a PDF format so that you can download it at your convenience at your home computer.

The guide/aid will consist of written forms (to be filled in by you) to help you decide which features you'll need and use on the sewing machine you ultimately purchase, as well as fine tuning your budget and rating the various sewing machine dealers you visit.

Sewing machines have gotten quite expensive over the last few years as new bells and whistles are added. It's easy to be swayed by the dealer to throw in the embroidery unit (for big bucks). It looks so easy to use. We're downright gleeful at the thought of a new machine, but as quilters, a lot of that 'sexy' stuff...well, honestly, we're just not going to use it.

On the other hand, there are several features, that after using them, are now 'must haves' for any new machine I buy. They just plain make the act of quilting easier and more productive.

Our quilting dollars are precious. I'd like to help my readers make the best decision they can.

So, hopefully this is something that will be of value to our visitors. It will be announced in the "What's New" section of the website and also in our newsletter.
