Feb 17, A Neat Little Computer Trick

I am on the computer a lot for building this website. Long hours for days on end.

Now don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT! Building this website is so fun, that sometimes I just don't know when to call it quits and my eyes get REALLY tired.

So here's a helpful hint...

To make the print on the screen bigger, hold down the "Ctrl" and tap the "+" to make the print larger. Keep tapping until you're happy. Need to make the type smaller? You guessed it. Hold down the "Ctrl" key and tap "-".

That's all there is to it!

Here's to happier eyes!

Trudy Wasson, 71, my best friend, mother, quilter/quilt designer and business partner, died prematurely on December 28, 2009 after suffering two strokes and complications from heart surgery.

She was an amazing woman, and I am proud to be her daughter. Quilting was and continues to be an amazing bond between us. And while I anticipate that it'll take awhile to get going again, the website and Generations Quilt Patterns will continue.

Neither Mom nor I would have it any other way.

To our readers, I thank you for the support you've shown me during this time and so, to you, I warmly give this advice...

TODAY, hug those that matter, make sure they know just how much you love them, do what's important and skip the time wasters...life is much too short and fragile to take anything for granted.

I wish you peace!

So I make my apologies, I will continue to add articles to the website as I can. If you know Mom, then you know she'd be kicking me in the behind if she thought I wasn't getting the job done. Please be patient with me.

When I know more about her condition I will post updates.
