Frequently Asked Questions

Do we need to add a picture?

No, a picture or pictures isn't necessary, but it will help to "pretty" up the page. It also gives prospective members more information about your guild.
Can we add more than one picture?

Absolutely! Our form allows for the entry of up to four photos. If you'd like to add more, contact us with the form below.

Furthermore, we do have a "Share Your Quilt" online show and tell for quilters. Encourage your members to share their quilts in that forum. If they mention your guild name in the description, I will link from that Show and Tell page directly to your Guild page.

Can we add a picture(s) later?

Yes. Just email the picture(s) to me at hdfbyjulie@live.com and let me know the name of your guild and any captions that go with them. This is the perfect thing to do if you'd like to add a picture of your next raffle quilt.

What do I do if I get an Error Message?

If you receive an error message saying either the picture is too big or there is too much text, then just cut and paste everything into an email and send it to me at hdfbyjulie@live.com. I will take care of the formatting and uploading from there.

Our quilt guild is NOT in the US, can we still list it?

ABSOLUTELY! We regularly have visitors from over 100 countries every month. ALL guilds are welcome to add their information to this directory.

Do we need to fill in all the information?

Put yourself in the shoes of a prospective member or guest. Provide enough information so that they can find your meeting. A contact person is recommended so that visitors have the opportunity to confirm a meeting date. That way they don't show up the one time during the year that you've changed the date.
