My daughter's baby quilt...

by Raine
(Berkeley)

I made it for her out of navy, lolly pink and cream with cotton, silk velvet and rayon textiles. I popped it in the bath with plain water...it did not bleed much at all.

I put it over a big hanger folded in two to let it DRIP DRY so as not to crush the velvet, this was my BIG MISTAKE. Had I rolled it in a towel right away it would not have run the lolly pink textile quilted squares into the cream ones.

Waahh...

Unsolvable, so they said at "Small Pieces" in Berkeley CA, a local leading quilt store.
