The Mahone Bay Quilters Guild is an active guild that promotes quilting and the fiber arts in and around Lunenburg County in Nova Scotia.
Our members comes from the surrounding areas from Halifax to Shelburne and the US.
New members are given a pattern for a name tag but they may choose their own if they would like. Name tags help our members get to know everyone faster.
Our newsletter is sent electronically a week before the meeting with all the particulars of upcoming events and meetings included.
Workshops are offered every month with the exception of June, September and December. June brings our annual potluck. Guild nominations are held in September and December is for our annual Christmas party.
We welcome anyone with an interest in quilting to our meetings.
Meeting Location:
Trinity United Church 101 Edgewater St Mahone Bay, NS
Meeting Day and Time:
We meet the first Monday of the month with the exception of July and August. If there is a holiday on the first Monday, the meeting is moved to the second Monday.
'Meet and Greet' is from 6:30 to 7pm, at which time the business meeting, "Sew and Tell" and program start.
