I did sun printing with freezer paper, hand cut print blocks, hand drew the dragonfly with a Sharpie, and used some over-dyed commercial fabrics.

I wanted to give this piece the feel of a sweet early fall day, like the day I made this.

The sun was shining, the breeze was fresh, and some trees were still green, while others were changing.

Beatiful quilt!
by: Anne

Rose,

Your quilt is very ethereal and just seems to float on air like a fall leaf. Lovely!

What is sun printing and how do you do it?

Thank you.

Anne
