A Christmas Table-Topper and a Bed Sized Christmas Quilt

by Katrina
(Canada)

You can read about my tale of woe here:

http://sunshowerquilts.blogspot.com/2010/12/to-pre-wash-or-not-to-pre-wash.html

But ~ I was successful in getting the bleeding red out of my quilt by using a Tide Bleach stick and being very quick about getting the bleach rinsed out of the quilt as soon as the bleeding area faded. Then I rinsed and rinsed and got the whole quilt into the wash.

Some fabrics picked up a bit of a pink hue - only some brands though - not them all. Interesting.

I wish you luck!
